In 2023, Vincent Doucede and Emmanuel Mourges, two cousins united by the same passion for wine, founded Clos des Saints in Saint-Geniès-de-Comolas.
Convinced by the exceptional potential of the Lirac appellation, they naturally decided to establish themselves there, starting their project with the acquisition of 10 hectares of Lirac that had already been organically farmed for ten years. Today, this cru represents the majority of their vineyard. In their quest for excellence and to broaden their horizons, they added two parcels in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, a prestigious appellation. Then, seduced by the diversity and rich expression of the terroir, they also turned to the Côtes-du-Rhône, where they now cultivate a few hectares organically. These new acquisitions reflect their ambition to create unique, elegant wines.
We make our wines with passion in three appellations: Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Lirac and Côtes-du-Rhône. Each terroir is worked with the same care and respect. The vineyards, which have been exclusively organic for many years, allow the full potential of the vines and grapes to express themselves.
A true master builder of the estate, Emmanuel embodies the soul of Clos des Saints. Trained in viticulture and oenology, he has always cultivated an intimate relationship with the land. His vision is to combine technical precision, respect for the living world and the quest for elegance in every cuvée. For him, each vintage is a singular work of art, revealing the very best of his terroir.
